Of the top judges picks, Green Leaf Labs machines agreed with our expert panel and our people’s choice.

The people picked our judges’ #4 and #8 choices for their 1st and 2nd place.  And #8 is actually the 9th sample, because there was a tie for 6th place.

Green Leaf Awarded Highest Terpenes though scientific methodology to our judges #3 and #2 picks overall.

Our judges’ overall first place went to Southern Oregon Bluebery #429 which the lab reported was the second highest sample in Pinene.

Lemon Kush #443 took home two firsts from the lab, and was our judges #3 overall.   A second Lemon Kush took second in Myrcene as well.

Black Cherry Soda #444 placed 2nd twice, once from the people and once from the judges.

Shiva Fire #439 left with two 2nds and a First from the machines at Green Leaf, while our judges gave it a 2nd place overall. Separately, it took 1st for smell and second for taste scored alone.

Yeager #440 took home a first and second from the equipment, and first for overall taste from our human testers.

Out of 25 Entries, 7 of our entrants took home first and second places in our scored categories.

In addition although we did not score for THC or CBD, I figure you all would like to know that Critical Mass #424 (11th place overall) was highest in tested CBD and Alien OG #435 (and a 6th place judges tie) came
in second.

For THC Strawberry Bananna #427 came in first and Royal Chem #432 was second.  This makes a total of 11 of our farms that participated coming in at a first and second place level in a very competitive group!

This was a Terpene Cup, and was scored accordingly.  In almost every case the Judges’ evaluation was confirmed by Green Leaf Labs equipment.  It should come as no surprise that even though the opinions on our scoring sheets were quite different for some samples, our pool of 3 ladies and 4 gents agreed overall with the people and the empirical evidence.

Kudos to everyone who entered.  If you placed, congratulations, keep it up!  If not, keep trying!

Our judges also deserve a huge thank you for their hard work!  It is a terrific commitment of time and energy to do a good and accurate job of evaluating all this fine material!  Judging really is a job, and all these fine people made sacrifices to smoke pot for us professionally!

Thank you finally to our OSGG board members and our volunteers who donated so much time and effort to make The Terpene Cup a success!
